Do you get a lot of trick or treaters?

When I lived in Florida, we barely got any. It was always a waste to buy candy.

But living in Georgia, in the neighborhood we do, we get a ton of kids from ours and other neighborhoods in the area.

I love to see all the costumes!

We get a TON of kids.

The first year we moved into our house, we didn't ask our neighbor's how many kids they usual get. THAT was a mistake!!
We went through 3 bags of candy. Then DH ran out to buy 3 more. We ran out again... he went out a 3rd time.

Yes - we ran out again.
We turned the lights out on our house... and they STILL RANG THE DOORBELL!
I felt so bad.

Well, live and learn. I never buy less than 10 bags of candy for Halloween now.

Wow...

Maybe since we are having young kids ourselves we're not usually home on Halloween. Three years ago we went out in the neighborhood. Two years ago we went to a mall or two NE of Fort Worth, despite MIL's assertion that we should stay away from them because they would be targeted by terrorists. Last year we went to a mall nearby. Some of the stores had run out of candy by the time we got there (which was not late).'

So I don't buy a lot of candy. Neither Brian, Benjamin nor I need too much!

We get tons of them. There are lots of kids here and we give out the best candy.

We had 4 kids last year....... I would love to have more but I guess when I am out taking Ryan around when he is older it will work out better that I am not leaving any kids out in the dark without candy!

TONS!! The first year we were in our house, we ran out of candy 3 times then finally just turned off the lights!

Last year I figured we would have millions and bought like 6 bags of candy. I think we might have gone through 2 and that was because I was VERY generous with my candy. We went out for about an hour or so and were pretty much the only people around! I have no idea what to expect this year since we are in a different neighborhood.

Nope. We don't get any trick-o-treaters here. We live in the country & way off the road, so no one stops here.

Nope, we turn out our lights They are always shipping people into town in big vans from surrounding areas and raiding the area. But we get the kiddies that we know ( friends' kids, relatives) But we are usually gone ourselves.
