Neighbor Kids?

Do you do anything special for the kids in your neighborhood that you know?

I have 4 neighbors that I talk with regularly and I was thinking I should make special treat bags or something for their kids. Does anyone else do this?

Last year was the first year we'd been home for Halloween since we got married. We live in townhouses, and I was expecting the little boy from next door, but not any others. We got a lot of trick-or-treaters early in the evening. But I think DH turned the light off after that and we didn't have any more. I don't know anyone in our area real well. But we took candy to put in treat bags at the sitter. Jonathan was really to small for it last year. I think I am going to make little ghost suckers and maybe special decoarated bags for them to take home with their loot. We'll see how industrious I get. LOL.

I have never done anything special for the neighborhood kids because we did not know them really well. For Gavin's second Halloween this lady that lived in our Apartment complex went out and bought a bunch of stuff (cookies and crackers) just for him. I thought that was really nice of her!

No, not really. they might get the better candy, but that would be it.

Last year one of neighbors brought Kimmy a box of animal crackers since she was too young for candy and I thought that was really sweet!

I'm going to see if I can find an EASY craft to make and give out!
