What have you all been doing? I have been getting ready for the school year and dance year. I love to be on a schudule. I like to be relaxed for awhile like in the summer, it just gets a bit long and by the time school starts I am ready to be back at what I do best. Taxi Mama.

I have been working on my calendar and I need yet to type up my letter for the Candy Store. Getting there, slow tho.

Let me know what all of you have been up too.

Super, super, super busy at work, haven't had much time to "hang out" lately. I feel bad, sorry!

Andrea no need to say I am sorry, work is work, it must be busy. That is good I am sure, makes the day go faster.

We just came back from holidays and have been very busy with church stuff...summer seems to fly by so fast. Soon it will be time for school to go back in...usually this time of year I am crazy with planning curriculum (getting ready for school to start). This year I am researching homeschooling....just to be prepared for the future but I have 4 years to do it so there is no hurry.

We've had a great summer and I hope everyone else has too!

Kim do you call it a holiday and it is the same thing as a vacation?

Yes you have lots of time to research homeschooling.

Annie

Yeppers...I use the words vacation and holidays interchangeably.
You know like school vacation or summer holidays?
Its funny how people use words differently...must depend on where we live or something

It must Kimmy, I have heard people use that work doliday for vacation, but not very often, so I wanted to make sure.

Do you call Pop, Pop or soda???
We call it pop mostly...soda sounds kinda funny.
Hmmm...I wonder what other words we say differently?

MO people say SODA instead of POP. I know when I lived in Indiana I still use my Midwest terms, like Sleigh Ride and Hay Rack Ride. They all laughed at me, I said what do you call it they said a Hay Ride. I said the hay doesn't give you a ride it is the flat bed with the rack that gives you the ride, they quit laughing. I was right. LOL

I have Great news!!!!

HI Annie!

I haven't been very busy..BUT I have great news!
My 20 1/2 preemie Michael started talking his first steps this weekend!
I cried! I had been hoping he would walk before age 2 and we have been working with his activity walker during physical therapy. This time he walked 4 steps all by himself!!! Today he did 8 steps and then landed on his little butt.

I feel like this is my Christmas!!!!

Love, Sandra

Congrats Michael!
I have been busy with preparations for my new job and my position as coordinator for our local MOPS group. Also, DD1 started K this week. DD2 is chomping the bit waiting until Sept 11.
