Angel Makeup?

Haley is going to be an angel for Halloween this year. I know that there is no real makeup that goes along with an angel but Haley is determined to wear some gold false eyelashes and really wants makeup done too.
Anyone have any suggestions for some angelic makeup?? I'm clueless on what to do.

I was going to suggest silver, but gold would be the same. Find some light makeups to keep her face bright and add some gold glitter to whatever you use.

When Haley saw the gold fake lashes I searched for silver thinking it would be better but couldn't find any. So we ended up getting the gold and then bought some gold rope to replace the white waiste tie on her gown to make it coordinate.
I'd love to be able to find some gold glitter shoes like the red ones Walmart sells to go with the Dorothy dress.

Try Target for the shoes. I seem to remember they had them in gold and/or silver last year.

As for her makeup, I'd get some of that Bonnie Bell stuff (kid like) . Maybe some pink cheeks and pink or lt blue eyeshadow. And don't forget the pink lipstick! Then dust her whole face and whatever shows of her body (arms, chest, etc) with some sparkly face powder.

Oh wait .. now that I think about it ... Jessi was a fairy a few years ago. I bought this makeup kit that had pinks, purples and blues in it and we painted little hearts over her eyelids and on her cheeks. It was rather cute. I'll have to see if I can find pictures

They make some sparkly irridescent glitter makeup that you can dust over over the top of her other makeup--To make it look like "angel dust" or something. Rosie pink cheeks and maybe blue eyes or something.

I have no clue Elaine. I think the boys will both be little Marines (again) just because they can wear the cammo looking shirt and pants again. Not to mention it's EASY. LOL

I know Jessi would love to be Barbie Swan Lake (she wants everything to do with her). We'll see what ideas I come up with between now and then ... sigh ...

Elaine it sounds like she is going to look great! I agree with the dusting of glitter over her face. If you can't find the glitter shoes, you can always make them, I've even made them out of old tennis shoes

I like everyone's ideas about the glitter makeup!

And, like Sheila, I was going to suggest making glitter shoes. You could get a pair of kids dress up shoes at the dollars store and glitter them up!

Sounds like she is going to look just darling, I dressed Shyanne up as an angel last year and we did just pink cheeks and lots and lots of glitter!!
And glitter spray in the hair.
For her shoes, I took a pair she was about to out grow and spray painted them silver (or gold in your case) And when they dried sprinkled them with glitter and sprayed a clear coat, They were darling! And they were very shiny. Anyways, Good luck! I bet she will be a beauty!!
