Good tip for peas!

After you steam the peas imediatly put them in ice water, once they are cold, blend till you can't blend any more. They come out really smooth and you don't have to take the outer skin off!

I found this tip on the internet and it worked like a charm! Oh, and they taste SO much better than the jars of peas.

Me too, Michelle! I went out and bought a $20 food press tonight and couldn't get the peas through! So, I went searching to find out what I was doing wrong and stumbled upon this tip!

Great tip Michelle. Would have helped if I read the thread AND the email! DUH!! I will remember that. I do plan on making my own again with this baby!
