I had already read this story...What's awful is that their BIOLOGICAL kids are perfectly healthy, while the 19 yr old adopted son is 45 pounds!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't even imagine what that looks like. And they were in the process of adopting more?!?!? Dear God, thank God they found them..... :bawl:

What is the matter with people? I am just horrified. I am glad they found the boys, but the damage has been done. That social worker should go to jail also. how did she miss that????? Those people need to be hung by their fingers and let the mass crowds get to them. Apparently no one is afraid of the system, go back to the old days and make it a public affair!

How could anyone have missed this? My social worker from Right from the Start is required to hold and examine my baby at every visit.

That is horrible! I can't imagine how somebody could do that to another human being. It's just sick.

I am so glad that they were found and are going to be in a better place that with those horrible people.

I cannot imagine starving a child or teenager.

I don't know whether to go on being speechless or to let the head of steam that's building come to a head.

How could this go 'undetected' for so long? Why are family members and the PASTOR OF THEIR CHURCH defending them? If the medical conditions were so severe that they indeed caused the physical condition of the 19 yr old man-boy (whom my 5 yr old son Benjmain OUTWEIGHS, btw) that human being should have been in an in-patient facility.

Wherever the many fingers of blame deserve to be placed in this case, the important thing is that the story has come to light and these adopted children can finally get some decent care. If society is judged by how well it treats the 'least' of it's citizens, our society is a sorry lot.
