it is time to start threads about them. I have been waiting since I joined to use that face!!!!!!!!!! LOL Anyways. Onto the topic.

But my topic has nothing to do with just wanted to use that. Mine is about Halloween.


Do you have a favorite childhood memory of Halloween? What is it?

For me growing up Halloween was my favorate holiday b/c I love all the decorations that go along with it. Now as Celeste is getting older and Halloween is approching again I am getting excited and have already began to think of what costum I would like her to wear this year. She was Tigger last year...

I remember, at least as we got older, that my parents dressed up too. I thought that was way cool.

I wasn't allowed to celebrate Halloween as a child for religious reasons. I always felt like I was missing out on things.

Growing up and Halloween was great! My dad was a candy broker. He would bring home all kinds of different candies before Halloween and my family would make baggies to give to all the trick or treaters. Everybody loved coming to our house because they got the best candy. It was so much fun to look forward too especially seeing the joy on kids faces. My mom used to make our costumes and they were awesome. We used them to play dressup in the rest of the year. She always decorated to. I must have picked up on that tradition, because I think I have as many Halloween decorations as I do Christmas.

I remember when i was young the nights we went out tricker treating the leaves were hard and cruncy and you would walk through them and hear the crunching that was my favorite part.And now i enjoy it b/c that is the night where I don't have to feel that Skylar is going to need to be told what to do.She is already soo careful of strangers not that we have a lot it is such a small town.It feels safe.
