What are you doing?

We will probubly have a quiet dinner here at home. I may go ahead and order one that is already done from the store sinceit will just be the 4 of us. After dinner we are going back to an old family tradition. We are going bowling! Used to do it every year but have not in a few. Will go with Ed's brothers and families. Usually have a great time!

Dinner with my whole family at my house! The big family dinner WAS at my mom's but she decided a couple of years ago that it's time to pass the tradition on to me!

It's only about 50 people!!

Our family does a pot-luck style dinner so I will only have to make 4 or 5 dishes. They also help clean up so I'm not worried!

DH's Aunt Rose is doing the family Thanksgiving this year. She apparently got some new appliances she's just aching to test drive. Works for me!

Her sisters (Aunt Sheila and my MIL) will be there. Sheila's biological older Jenniferand her husband Jeff and their two children, Nick and Kayla. (Aunt S was forced to give Jennfer up at birth.) Aunt Sheila's adopted son Jason, his wife Donna and their son Scotty. Aunt Sheila's other daughter Tara and her boyfriend du jour. Aunt Rose's husband Uncle Johnny and their son J Lee and his girlfriend du jour. Johnny's mother "Laura Faye"....EVERYBODY calls her "Laura Faye", even Johnny. My family of five and possibly some others....I can't remember them all.

It's kind of strange. I'm used to my Mother, my Brother and me. Since 1979 when my Father passed away. That's a lot of people to get used to.

I hope we can get back to Michigan to see both sets of parents. The last 2 years the Inlaws came out b/c I had to work. This year we might have to stay here if things keep going the way they are with one of DH's groups' suppliers. Whatever. If we have to stay, I'll make a small amt. of turkey & potatoes & a veggie. I'll have to search Weight Watchers & see what I can come up with. No matter what, I'm going power shopping on Friday morning! Anyone wanna come with me?

Sounds like everyone is going to have a great time!

Mivhelle I am glad that with 50 people you wont have much to do and get lots of help!

We always go to my oldest brothers' house (he lives in between us and our other brother). We always have a big dinner and then sit around and nap or watch a movie.
