I have always loved Halloween. I love the fall. But most of all, I have enjoyed coming up with homemade customes. Except for this year. I haven't had that much time or energy. I have a 12 1/2 year old daughter, a 2 1/2 year old daughter and a 8 month old son. Between work and trying to get a house finished to move into and come up with the money to do the repairs to move, I haven't had the time. I made my daughter a clown in a little truck one year. Took a couple of cardboad boxes and made wheels out of paper. I braided her hair and painted her face. Then my 2 1/2 year old's first Halloween, I took a yellow shirt and black jogging outfit and made her a bumble bee. I took the felt strips that stick and made stripes. I am not one to sew. I did a little last year but I don't have the money to go and buy customes that she will only wear once. This year I ran across a shop that had advertised on their sign "Halloween Customes, $5 while they last". I stopped, I bought. I figured what she didn't wear for Halloween, she could play dress up. She is just now getting into the dressing up thing. She danced around the house the other day when I bought her play shoes from Walmart.
