Games for 2 yr olds?

A friend has asked me what games the kids can play at her son's 2nd birthday party. Most of the kids will be around 2 or 3.

Any suggestions for age appropriate party games?

At that age, it is not always a good idea to have a game where someone is a winner...they should all win.

At one of my son's parties, I gave each child a goody bag with, among other items, a pack of crayons and a coloring book. Ahead of time, I placed several colored stickers somewhere on the pages within each child's book. The game was simple...when I said GO they (with parental help) were to look through their book for the appropriate sticker (for example: the green star). Once they found the specified sticker the child was able to pick a wrapped gift from the basket. The gifts were small favor items, like dinosaurs and cars, etc. wrapped in tissue paper for just enough surprise.

There are enough gifts for everyone, so they all win!

Thats a good idea mama, Noah is turning 2 in Jan.I will play that game, any other ideas?

I wouldn't lean to heavily on the games at 2. Another thought is to do a craft. Something simple. Maybe have a big birthday banner for Noah that the kids can draw/scribble on. I'm a neat freak, so I'd stretch it out on a table with a cover underneath it and let 'em scrible to there hearts content. Some folks go ahead and hang it on the wall and let the kids draw there - I'm not that brave
