Wild turkeys not only aren't dumb, they are mean! I understand Ben Franklin wanted to make the turkey the national bird instead of the bald eagle.

Yup, that's right. I forget why. Of course my father used to say turkeys were dumb. His Dad used to have some when he was a farmer and said they would all pile on top of each other for who knows what reason and the ones on the bottom would get crushed and/or suffocate!
