I was thinking about registering for a Boppy Pillow. Has anyone out there used one? Are they a good idea?

I love mine, I love mine, I love mine!

You can use it for nursing or to prop baby up. When they are older, they can use it to lay around and watch TV. Jessi still uses hers and she's 5!

Zach is too big to use it for breastfeeding anymore but I use his to prop his chest up when he is playing on his stomach.
I love it!

I never had one. I borrowed one from a friend for that couple of week stage where they can almost sit up but then fall over and it worked well for that. For nursing, I just used a regular pillow or two.

I didnt' have a 'boppy' but it was a different kind I got at Babies 'R' Us. I love mine and Bailey still uses hers. I prop her up to give her a bottle.....she can relax and watch a movie, and she sleeps w/ it. It is firm enough to be a safe pillow to put in her crib. She won't sleep w/out a pillow!!! I would say get it.....it's a great investment and it has so many uses!!

I love mine..perfect support all around. The only draw back that I can see is that if you have a very cushy reclined couch or chair, it makes it harder to use because the baby is up too high for nursing..at least in my experience. I take mine everywhere with me!

Oh Dina - This is a must have!!! I loved my boppy..and Andie at a year and two weeks still uses his sometimes - Richie loves to use it when watching TV also!! It was great to take along when i went to my SIL's house - I used it to prop the baby up when I fed him, and then it served as somewhere for him to comfortably lay, all nestled and snug.

Register for it - you won't regret it!

I never could get comfortable using it when feeding Ally, but she sure does use it now. Now she drags it out and lays on it when she wants to watch TV or a movie w/ her big brother.

I didn't like mine at all. I couldn't fit into the rocking chair with it when I nusrsed. If I nursed elsewhere it still seemed awkward. Kj never used it for anything else, although I did try sitting and propping him up it, but he never got into it.
