Stupid DVD

John went out and rented the first LOTR movie for me to watch and don't you know it, I get a little over halfway through it and it just stops. I stop it, restart it, fast forward it and in the same exact spot it just stops. I can't fast forward past it or anything I've already seen the 2nd one but haven't been able to see this one since the rental place has been out of it. We can't take it back and exchange it for a VHS copy since the vcr is on the outs too

UGH .. I'd take it back and MAKE them give me a good DVD so I could watch it .. and then ask for a free rental too!!!

did you check for fingerprints and stuff?
probably too late for that now anyhow, but that is usually the problem when they stop on your.. specially with rentals.

UGH!! We rented a movie this weekend and had to skip through most of it bcz it was scratced... then we returned it late and OWED $!

I cleaned it off and it doesn't look like there are any scratches. Bad thing is they only had 1 copy of it Back to reading the book for now
