O.k. S.O.S.!!!!

First thank god I got a new puter and am back shoooeeeee! Anyway I am having a car seat emergency! My mom is starting to watch the kids tomorrow as we are returning to work. Anyway she got two cosco alpha omega car seats like ours and when we attempted to install them in the back seat of their Lincoln Towncar, when tightening them the back of the car seats pop up from the seat. I think we need a wedge but where do I find one???? Someone please help!

Can you get the noodles they use in pools? That is what we were told to use at WIC. You just cut them to the length you need. I think with Logans infant seat we needed 3 lenthgs 12 inches long and we held them together with duct tape.

or email/ring the car seat makers and ask their opinion, and then do what Becky said it is probably cheaper LOL

My dad just headed for WalMart to look for them. Can you explain a little more please? Do we duct tape them into a triangle shape?

Exactly. cut them in 12 inch lenghts or however wide your car seats are, and then put them together for the thickness you need to bring the car seat to the correct angle and tape them together. Should work like a charm.

Our WIC office suggests using noodles too. I hope you can find them this time of year!!
The other, more expensive route is to use rolled up towells.

We had our seats installed by the people at a car seat check and they just used the swim noodles.

You can also just use a rolled up towel. We got our wedge from Babies R Us. It is just a blue foam thing, and is alot like the pool floaties.
