Any Special Treats you make at Thanksgiving??

I wanted to make something new for Thanksgiving this year. Along with our Turkey, we have dressing, cranberry sauce....pumkin pie, sweet potato pie....the basic Southren meal

But I'm looking for something new to put beside the Turkey this year. I figure if I start now, I'll have something by November!!!

Jimmy family makes homade noodles. They are ok, it just isn't me. They all love them. I would rather have ham instead of turkey. LOL, that is me.

Green bean casserole, Pecan Pie Squares and Pumpkin Bars with Cream Cheese Icing (yummy, yummy!)

Green bean casserole, Baked macaroni and cheese, and candied sweet potatoes are big in my family.

We are also pie people. Pecan, Apple, Pumpkin, Peanut butter, and Tears on your pillow.

I have a recipe for Pumpkin roll-up. I think it's a lot like the pumpking pie bars except you roll up like a jelly roll!

I like to make chocolate pie. All you have to do is buy one of those pre made ghram cracker crusts add choc. pie filling and cool whip and chill in the fridge for 2 hours it doesn't take much but it tastes great!!

I haven't had chocolate pie in forever!!! That sounds SO good.

Lat year, I made a sweet potato casserole that was SO good. I wish I could remember what I put in it. I know I used some pudding to make it a little sweeter and give it some consistency, but I don't remember much other than that. Hmmm.... Just thinking about it's making me hungry.

I make a variety of breads and this year I am adding rolls.

I make a variety of breads such as pumpkin, banana nut, and zucchini. This year I plan on adding potato rolls because my older sister Diane has a wonderful recipe. I will be posting it as soon as she gives me the recipe.

Right now, I am cooking Michael's halloween pumpkin so we can have some pumpkin bread as dessert with our dinner. YUM YUM
