I love Butter Beans, and my grandfather used to put dumplings in them! It tastes great!

A Quick way to do this is buy some fozen Butter Beans, follow directions on the package, in additon add about 1 cup of water. Bring to a boil!

Then take a can of store bought biscuts(or make your own dumplings), and roll them into little balls. Add them to the boiling Butter Beans, and reduce heat to medium and cook until done(usually 5-10 min).

You can also add salt, and pepper, etc!

Another thing you can do is add a peice of seasoning meat to it. You can usually find it in the meat department at your local supermarket. Most of the time it will say "seasoning meat" on the package. Although I had a hard time finding any in the northern states(they didn't even know what it was).
