My SIL just called and I answered the phone to this, " (pause) Is my brother there?" No hello, how are you, nada. I swear this girl was one of my freakin bridesmaids! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR..... The worst part is Billy made me go back and talk to her while he put the kids to bed....

This is going to be a LONG week......

I learned the hard way not to call and just ask if someone was there. Here was the conversation:

Them: "Hello?"
Me: "Hello, is Heather there?"
Them: "Yes she is." Click.

Yes, they hung up. I was in high school at the time, but I never forgot it. One should ALWAYS ask to speak to the person, not just if they are there.

Might be fun, in any event. And make DH answer the phone the next time it rings (which will probably be about a minute later).
