This is another craft idea that I got off of a list. I haven't checked it out yet, but it sounded like a good resource.
If you click on the link below it will show you a picture of an orange pumpkin. Click on that pumpkin and it will show it bigger. I still can't figure out how to get the instructions. I get this magazine called Family Fun. (www.familyfun.com) You can sign up for a free years subscription I believe. I have gotten a lot of fun and EASY ideas from it for many occasions. Lots of stuff on their web site. I will type the instructions briefly but if you look at the picture you can get the gist.
Candy-Filled Pumpkin
Can you keep a secret?
It ought to come in handy.
Inside this little pumpkin lies
a treasure trove of candy.
What you need:
assorted candies such as candy corn, chocolate kisses. (I mixed candy corn/peanuts/M&M together and it taste like a chocolate Pay Day. You don't have to put in the M&M it will taste like a regular Pay Day.)
Put the mixture, about 1/4 c., in some Glad wrap or something similar then get some orange tissue paper, cut in squares (depending on how much mixture you put in each one)
Place the candy in the center of the tissue paper square.
Pull the corners of the tissue together at the top and twist.
I then took a green pipe cleaner and twist it around the top to hold it together.
Wrap the ends of the pipe cleaner around a pencil to make it curl.
I then tied raffia around the top to add a little extra.
Very easy and there is a special goody inside.
