Stay calm no matter how intense it feels and you will emerge prouder than ever. There are some power games being played and you could even be one of the players -- whether you realize it or not. You've been on an energetic high, pushing your own needs ahead of the pack. Now, as circumstances push back, you may feel as if someone is trying to take control away from you. Save your roar for another time. Let this one go. What is on the surface is just a trick. The real meaning is not in your head; it's in your heart.

You Leos do best when everything is out in the open. But what lurks now just beneath the surface? This is your meditation for the day. The problem is that the richest rewards are not apparent at this time. It is not about the obvious things that you can see. It's about the layers of imagination that can unfold when you are quiet. This is going to take some courage -- and maybe even a leap of faith. Once you realize what you have to gain, you'll surely be back for more.

Oh, are you Leos going to like this one! The planets are ready for you now. But are you ready for them? You are usually outgoing and positive, but now you could go right over the top. You know that you are good and that this is your shot. You may even feel invincible. No question about it -- the signs are encouraging. But there are always potential pitfalls and now is no exception. Go for it, but don't be so overbearing that others will feel the need to do combat with you.

LEO (Jul 23–Aug 22): Your own sense of personal power is building to a crescendo, and it feels like nothing can stop it. Something, however, can prevent you from going too far. And that something is you. It's not going to come from the outside. You'll need to take responsibility to hold back on your intensity or else you could set up a situation that will be unpleasant for everyone involved. Be careful of self-righteousness as a motivation. You don't have to tell everyone what you believe. Patience and quiet perseverance will go a long way.

LEO (Jul 23–Aug 22): You could be thinking about grandiose travel plans. Of course, the difference between reality and fantasy may not be that important yet, for until you start executing your plans, they are just reaches of your imagination. Unfortunately, you may not be satisfied now with idle daydreaming. You want to make it real. You are ready to go on the adventure. But you cannot. Accept the limitations, do what you can, and move on.

LEO (Jul 23–Aug 22): It's going to be nearly impossible to hold your energy in place today, even though it may seem like that's what you're supposed to do. Even if you've kept quiet up until now, something feels like it's going to give. Remember, it's better to use force in your words than in your actions. But be ready to back up what you say. In fact, make certain that you have your facts right before you begin telling others what you know.

LEO (Jul 23–Aug 22): Someone that you've trusted may now throw you a curve ball and you won't see it coming unless you are prepared. So, keep your anti-curve ball defense system on high alert all day, as it will be all too easy to get broadsided by the unexpected. The surprise may not feel like an unpleasant experience, which encourages you to let down your guard. Don't. If you don't take this seriously, you'll end up today being seriously confused for a few days.

LEO (Jul 23–Aug 22): You can reach too far now -- especially when sharing your ideas with others. The problem is that are trying to say too much, and trying to say things that have never been said. Tread carefully, for you'll tend to confuse those around you. Or you may actually feel somewhat confused yourself. Either way, your tendency is to cover your insecurity, but this won't help. Admit what you don't know and soften your stance. You don't have to justify everything you do or have to explain yourself.

LEO (Jul 23–Aug 22): You could get into a dispute with your friends now, but it will pass as suddenly as it began. Part of the problem is that you are involved in a situation that has others pulling in various directions. You are more willing at this time to go along with the group than you normally are. But there is still something holding you back from letting others have all the control. There's no fast and easy solution here. Your best bet is to just be aware of the developing dynamics.

LEO (Jul 23–Aug 22): You are being tested now, and how you respond can have important ramifications in the days ahead. Consider the situations that you now face as speed bumps in the parking lot of life. If you are moving ahead too fast, they can hurt. But if you see them coming and slow down accordingly, then there will be no pain to your system. Make the necessary adjustments, and if needed, make them again. Take your cues from the feedback that reality is giving you through the situations in your life.

LEO (Jul 23–Aug 22): Although you may feel like you are communicating clearly, there can be a bit of fuzziness around your words. On one hand, you may be elusive on purpose -- in order to evade a particular issue. More likely, however, you assume that someone close to you knows more than they do. Your assumptions can get you into trouble. Don' take anything for granted. If you aren't sure, then check it out. Ask questions. And cover your bases.
