In Greek mythology, when Pluto abducted the beautiful and innocent young Persephone and made her Queen of the Underworld, it was Mercury who brokered her release. Today, as your planet, Pluto squares off in the sky with Mercury-the-Negotiator, you may experience coercion and power struggles within your own sphere of communication. Remember that Mercury wants the words spoken out loud or written down on paper. This shines light on the shadowy areas and makes things easier to resolve. The Moon has returned to your sign for the next couple of days. Normally, this is an emotional burst of energy as your batteries become recharged with your own spirit. But now, there are two forces pulling at you in different directions. One is reminding you to push outward into the world, to put energy into relationships and to engage other people. The other force is telling you to pull inward and that if you don't take care of yourself first, you'll have less to give others. The truth is somewhere in the middle. Allow room for both forces to operate.

It is spring cleaning time and you have some intellectual housekeeping to do. If you cannot do it yourself, don't be afraid to get some professional help. You are being pushed rapidly into your own future, but you need to be able to think clearly -- and this involves getting rid of the thoughts that are holding you back. If you attend to cleaning up your own mind now, the next few weeks can be highly productive. Think of it as cleaning out the closets and attics of your mind. Put your thoughts in order. Make lists. Organize your email. Attend to details so you can be free for the visions and the big thinking.

SCORPIO (Oct 23–Nov 22): New ways of relating to work are necessary at this time, but its not going to be easy. It could feel like the deck is stacked against you, but there is surely a way through this. You'll want to remember that there's a fine line between holding your position with determination and being so rigid that you cannot adapt to the changing landscape of your life. On the other hand, nothing will be gained by just giving up. As paradoxical as this may sound, hold onto your vision while remaining flexible.

SCORPIO (Oct 23–Nov 22): Very large icebergs are categorized by the size of Eastern states. Right now you feel so solidly stuck that you may categorize yourself as a Montana. Hang tight, Scorpios, for something big is about to happen. If you can open your mind wider than it's ever been opened, you are about to split into 95 Rhode Islands! The point is that you are more powerful than you even realize and if you let yourself change, your power will move and spread even wider.

SCORPIO (Oct 23–Nov 22): You can plummet into the depths of your own inner worlds or you can find fascination with someone else's, but in either case you are going for quite a confusing ride. You are entering your own version of the "Twilight Zone" where it is difficult to know what is exactly real. Remember, this is about leaving reality behind. You may become quite enamored with the fantasy. You may even believe it to be true. But you'll land back in your earthly life soon enough, with a memory of something special.

SCORPIO (Oct 23–Nov 22): You are all ready to be spontaneous and creative, but something is missing. You aren't sure where to aim your energy. Even if your inner guide is telling you to keep your regular job duties moving smoothly, the solution to your current dilemma is outside the normal world. You're not going to be able to work your way or talk your way out of this problem. Feel the tension. Then let it go. You'll feel refreshed and be willing to make another round into the realm of gods and goddesses.

Sure I am - towards the 7 or 8 loads of laundry waiting to be done.

As far as living in the Twilight Zone, Lu Ann - most days I just call it my own private he!!, like today when the kids are at each others throats! So I guess that means I have just reached a deeper level. like Dante's poem!

Even if what's on your mind isn't easy, now is a good time to bring it up. You can talk about what has made you angry without getting caught up in the anger itself. You may feel vulnerable because of past hurts and now these unexpressed feelings can come back to haunt you. You don't need to have any answers and you don't need to know where it's all going. SCORPIO (Oct 23–Nov 22): At times it makes you a little crazy when you can see so deeply into what's beneath the surface, but you can't talk about it to others. Whether it's that they just don't want to know or that they don't have the capability to fully understand the complexity of what you see, you are left alone to experience something very profound. You'll find someone to share it with later, but probably not today.

Your gut instinct has been leading you on develop your vision of your ideal future.
