It could take a rather large leap of faith for you Goats, but sometimes you just have to jump -- even if the odds don't look great. The thing is, however, your chance for success is much better than it appears, for you are basing your pessimistic view on the wrong facts. This isn't about how it appears; it's about the meaning of your life. Your leap consists of letting go of the outcome and instead, concentrating on what you can learn from this situation. This could be exhilarating as you break through the fears that normally hold you back.

You Capricorns are the sure-footed Mountain Goats. You're supposed to be among the most reliable beings in the cosmic zoo. Today, however, you may feel a little less steady than usual. Perhaps it's because you are distracted. Maybe you've actually given yourself permission to daydream about some impractical opportunity that's just come your way. There's no harm in letting your imagination have free reign. You're not required to actually do it just because you indulged yourself in the fantasy. But, on the other hand, it could be meaningful to share your dream with your friends.

So what if your feet are so firmly planted on the ground? Now, it doesn't really matter. Your foundations are shaking and quaking, and you'll need to be quick about figuring out a plan to maintain your stability. It's not nearly as bad as it might sound, for you are quite excited about the possibilities. Your biggest obstacle may be your own fear of the unknown. You like the stability and now you're going to have to learn how to get by with less of it. Focus on the exhilaration and not the fear.

CAPRICORN (Dec 22–Jan 19): Perhaps you've taken this road as far as it's going to take you. Or maybe you are going through a metamorphosis. As you change, so will your direction. This is not as big as changing a career or relationship or a whole life realignment. But it's still important. Open your mind in ways that will help bring about the changes that you'd like to see in your life. These changes can be in your love life, but if so, it doesn't mean the end of a relationship. Instead, it's about what you think of the relationship and where it is going.

CAPRICORN (Dec 22–Jan 19): You may be tending your own wounded feelings today as someone tells you "no" or "not yet." You may feel as if obstacles are being placed in your path for no good reason -- until you begin to realize that your thoughts have been moving too fast. Now, in order to make things real, you need to give yourself some time to let circumstances catch up to your new ideas. If they are good ones, they'll still be good in a few days.

CAPRICORN (Dec 22–Jan 19): You are like a race horse in the starting gate. You've done so many practice runs on this track that you know every inch of the way. You probably could even do it with your eyes closed. Meanwhile, you feel like you could die of old age before the race even starts. What is everyone else waiting for? Why can't they be on timeready and waiting like you are?

You think that you are speaking with clarity of vision and strength of purpose. Even if others believe that you are a force to be reckoned with, you'll need to be careful now. Don't take any shortcuts. Don't try to mislead anyone, for if they respect the integrity that you bring to the situation, you'll have strong allies even if you are making their lives more complicated.

CAPRICORN (Dec 22–Jan 19): Yesterday it was Venus and your senses were telling you stories. Now, it is Mercury, which emphasizes your own intellect, thoughts, ideas and conversation. You might want to crawl back into your self-protective shell. But when change has your name attached to it, it will surely find you no matter where you hide. Even if you do retreat some, don't waste your time trying to explain yourself along the way. Follow your intuition with the understanding that It's all going to change over the next few days.

CAPRICORN (Dec 22–Jan 19): Even though it's a work day for many, forget about climbing the mountain of accomplishment. Instead, use today to delve into the things that are not so obvious. You are treading on unfamiliar ground, for what's happening is not in the sensible realm. Nonetheless, your feelings now can have practical impact if you trust them enough to let them bubble to the surface. Your powers of analysis are quite strong now, but you might have to work very hard to convince anyone. Don't get discouraged. If you stay focused on your own personal truth, then others will go along with you.

CAPRICORN (Dec 22–Jan 19): You are so juiced by the amount of information you are working with right now that it's gone right over the top. Too much of a good thing is not a good thing, and even though you may have excellent technical capabilities, you also know of how to analyze these large amounts of data and make sense out of what's in front of you. Others will appreciate your hard work and your attention to all the details.

This isn't because you're not good. It's because you are being so hard on yourself. In fact, others, too, can now come down on you, as if you were wearing a "kick me" sign on your back. CAPRICORN (Dec 22–Jan 19): You know something about others now, but they may not realize how much you actually know. And you're better off if you keep it a secret. There's no need to play all your cards now. There's no need for others to know how strong you are inside. And there's certainly no need for them to know what you are afraid of. For now, keep things to yourself. It's going to take a month or so for current ideas to come to fruition.
