My first day with Morning sickness was on November 15th of 1999. I was about 5 weeks pregnant (of course I didn't know it then.. hahaha)

My cravings actually didn't start until around March and April! I craved Taco Bell, ice water, and Red Slushies!

Have you started craving anything yet?

I had morning sickness probably around my 2nd month pregnant and it lasted until I was 4 1/2 months. Then it went away and came back.
I did not really crave anything until I was 4 months pregnant kind of when my morning sickness stopped. When that stopped I started eating the things I wanted. But I did not CRAVE things that much. I mean there were things I wanted but I did not make my husband go searching all over the place.

By the way I am 22 and I have been married one year and we have a 6 month old son named Christian Joel.

My youngest is 2 and I still get sick when I smell popcorn. With all three I had morning sickness from about week 4 on for several months.

I craved peanut butter during Caitlyn's pregnacny so much, it still makes Matt sick!! With Brandon, I loved pickles. Now I hate them. With Angela, Matt was working at a sit-down-and-wait-for-the-food restraunt and I craved baby back ribs. He would save me a set everytime I came in. I too wanted OJ all the time. Great going down, but yuck coming up.

I did not crave OJ...I forces myself to drink it for the vitamins...I never threw up, but I ran for the toilet alot of times, nothing ever came up tho!
I started getting morning sickness around 2 months and then, like magic...it went away at 3 months.
I later wonder if alot of it was in my head because it went away so suddenly at 3 months...
I could not eat yogurt the first couple months, but later came to crave it, that and pineapples.
I had to have water with lots of ice, don't ask me why.

I never got morning sickness but the smell of Burger King would make me feel bad.

I was hungry all the time and I drank milk like you said you do O.J.

Every person is different, maybe you'll get lucky!

I remember. The morning sickness was how I could tell that I was pregnant. I got that at about 1 week. I kept it all throughtout the pregnancy. As far as cravings I knew by those too. Because I never did like French Fries but you could not stop me from eating them with my ice cream and pickles. I sound kind of nasty but I still eat it today and Aiyanna is 6 months now.

Morning sickness started up around 6 weeks and lasted into the 4th month. I never got sick, but stayed extrememly queasy the whole time. I lose weight the first few months with both pregnancies. To this day I can not stand the thought of Chicken & Dumplings -- ugh.

But then the cravings kicked in and I more than made up for it! Both times I craved fruits and hot, spicy stuff. Then there was popcorn with parmesan cheese & season salt. I still love that!

I saw something that I used to crave when I was at the grocery store yesterday, but I've already forgetten what it was. That's called mush-brain, caused by pregnancy and lack of sleep, and apparently never goes way. LOL

Good luck! You're in for one heck of a roller coaster ride over the next several months -- enjoy it!

I also wanted orange juice. But like everyone else it would come up as soon as I would drink it. I wanted it so badly but I could not drink it. I could drink it the month that I was not sick...between 4 and 5 months and then when my morning sickness came back. My mom on the other hand never got sick at all while she was pregnant and she craved orange juice...now why could I not take after her.

We went through milk at our house fast too. Not because my husband drank the milk. We would buy 2 gallons when we would get groceries and I would drink it so fast.
I forgot to say earlier that I also craved cereal which would be why we had all the milk.

I drank alot of milk too, but I had to have it cold and it had to be nonfat!!! I worked at a coffee shop so I had an endless suply of milk to drink! I would drink it with ice to make sure it was cold and could go down easy.

cravings

Just remember - if your body's craving something that strongly it's because you need something. When you're pregnant, the body is very good at alerting you to what it's missing. If you're craving OJ, you may have a lack of Vitamin C. I learned with my first pregnancy to listen to those cravings and I still get them - although not nearly as strong!

Yah! My best friend had such a strong craving for dirt, that she wanted to pull over and eat it!!
Her doctor said that her body was telling her she needed iron. She ended up being really anemic and had to take iron...weird how your body lets you know!

Cravings & Morning Sickness!!!

Well for me the morning sickness was more like all day sickness. It lasted until the 4th month, I have just now started to gain weight, in the first four months I lost 9 lbs.

The sad thing for me is I crave spicy food but, I can' have it, or fried food for that matter. As soon as it hits my stomach I have to hit the bathroom, and i don't have to throw up if you know what I mean.

The only other things I crave are O.j., milk and popsicles. I eat a lot of fresh fruit and veggies anyway so I don't consider that a craving.

My morning sickness started around five wks and lasted into the fourth month. i ate lots of saltenes durring that time.
I have craved O.J. since early in pregnancy. I am still drinking about 64oz every 24 hrs. but it has to have lots of pulp.
Just recently I have started craving angel food cake topped with strawberries, and cream soda. I have had it atleast once a day for the past two weeks and sometimes more often.

Mine too was allday sickness. I could not eat when I did I would throw it right back up. It is bad when you really like something to waste it.

I really didn't have any morning sickness at all. Sometimes during the day I would feel really hot and have to sit down, but no realy nausea.
As for cravings I craved Green Beans with butter, and they couldn't be any green beans they HAD to be Green Giant and the butter HAD to be I Can't beleive it's Not Butter! Also Kit-Kat bars!!
The one thing I could not stand the smell of when I was pregnant was hamburger. So it was hard to cook meals sometimes!! But that went away after I had the baby.
