We have a welcome Home Baby shower since Michael was a preemie and born 10 weeks early.

We served finger sandwiches, and assorted trays of baby vegetables, Grilled chicken salad.

Dessert was cake.

I've never had one but when I have another baby I'm throwing my own and I'll have chips and dip, veggies, and maybe a sandwich tray and cake with punch.

My first (before Alexander was born) we had cake, chips & dip, fruit & creamcheese dip, nuts, mints, punch and I think that's it. Maybe some finger sandwiches.

For my second (after Elizabeth was born) we had cheesecake, chips & dip, fruit & cream cheese dip, punch and I don't remember what else.

Both of mine were surprise showers thrown by my SILs.

For my baby shower we had: Rotel dip, cheese cubes, cake, punch, mints, nuts and we might have had chips.

The baby shower I'm throwing for a friend I'm having: cupcakes, Kool-Aid, fruit and dip, chips, mints and maybe nuts.

Finger sandwiches, potato chips, potatoe salad, jello salad, punch and cake. (I'm sure there was more, but I can't remember)
