Well, Cori does, anyway. She has been going through a thing where a few kids have teased her about having a "boy" name.
Well, I told her to write her name backwards and see what it spells. She did and was so excited!! I R O C
She now has good come back that she is proud of. Even though we know girls that are named Cori, it helped that she had something "of her own".

That's great! I think of Cori more as a girl's name.

That's cool!

Poor girl, Bailey gets so upset when he has other Baileys in his class when they are GIRLS. Then I feel so bad for him. I just tell him that it was a BOYS name first.

I think Cori is a really pretty name for a girl. I'm glad she thinks it is a cool name now.

You should have seen Haley the other day when she was watching a movie and the name Haley Joel Osmond (sp?) came up on the credits. She said "Look mom their is a girl named Haley in this movie" and then was crushed when I told her that was a boy.

Good!! I am gonna show her this so she realizes that most intelligent people associate it as being a girls name.

Hey Elaine----Cori reminded me that she has a friend in MA whose name is Haley White. I forgot about that until she was writing to your Haley (which I still need to mail).
