Ok so here is the BIG secret. We've known this for about a week or so, but just decided to share it with you all yesterday. I thought a little game of "I've got a secret" would be a fun way to break this news. It is a little shocking .. was to us at first and after a lot of thinking and just realizing that we can't change things now we have accepted it ... here it is .

Stan and I have just come to realize that we simply can't change the course of our lives. We have to make the best of what we have. Kirstie-Raie will be ok too!

My mom was the same way when my sister got pregnant! I think it's wonderful that she is so close to you that she could come to you and tell you!!! My mom always said "There are a LOT of worse things that could happen other than her being pregnant, babies I know I can handle"

I think it's wonderful that you and Stan are so supportive. I will tell you first hand that will make a WORLD of difference in KR's life! THe support and love that come from your parents at such a hard time in life means the world to her, trust me. I was in her shoes, not a whole lot older than her either!!

No, I really would not think it would be a joke but... Just something in the back of my mind.

Well I am glad you are supporting her. My sister got pregnant when she was 18. She was terrified. My mother took her to planned parenthood and made her get an abortion. She was never the same again. Had my mother supported her it would have made a world of differance. She was allowed to make her own decsion.

Also a frined of ours just had thier first grandchild and thier daughter is 18. THey have supported her threw the whole thing. She is starting community college in Sept. Without her parents she would not be.

Kirstie-Raie is a virgin .. she suggested this joke this am. It started out to be that I did not have a secret at all and then KR suggested this one She wants you all to know that she has only french kissed and only twice to that
