a woman in my Celiac Disease Support group. She is the one who has helped me the most, and she always sits with me and Scott and talks to us, mails me news etc... I just received this email:

Dear Celiac Friends,
In case you haven't heard as yet, on Monday night, Brenda Nelson who has done
so much for Celiacs here in our area, suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage due
to an aneurysm in her brain. She underwent a 7 hour surgery at Brigham and
Women's Hospital in Boston on Tuesday to clamp off the base of the aneurysm.
She remains in the Intensive Care Unit there. I do not believe she has awakened
yet. She and her husband need your prayers right now. I pray that she
recovers.

I will say a prayer for her. Is that common or did she have other health issues?
I pray that she will recover.
