Hello all, My dh and I are in charge of field day at our church school which has 13 kids that range from ages 6years to 14 years. I was just wondering if you ladies has some suggestions for games or activites that we could do. We have some but we really want it to be fun for them. Thanks for taking the time out to read this and help me.

I like the hunt idea...
You always have the potatoe sack races, toss the water balloon, carry an egg on the spoon relays.

I know field day is usually individual competitions with only 1 winner, but with such a spread out age group I would think that probably group sports would be the better idea.
Maybe volleyball?
Also maybe the 6 yr olds would have some trouble but you could do a jump rope race.

Thanks so much for all of your suggestions and please keep them coming. We have rented a couple of inflatable things too and we are doing a egg toss, water balloon toss and some other things too.

At our field day, we don't have individual winners, we have a winning class. For instance one entire class lines up and each student carries the egg on the spoon down a line and around an object and back to the class and then hands it off to another student in that class....this continues until the entire class finishes.....the first class to finish wins. We also have relays where each student takes a small dixie cup, fills it with water at the beginning of the course....hurries down a designated path towards another classmate who is laying on their back with an empty plastic soda bottle sitting on their forehead, the first student dumps the water into the bottle (if they haven't spilled it all on the way over) and most of it usually goes onto the classmate lying on the ground
The first class to get the water lever up to a designated point in the bottle wins!
