Infant rice enables you to produce a good puree consistency and makes a suitable base for new flavors. Here it is mixed with vitamin-rich kiwi.
1 eating apple, peeled, cored and chopped
3 tbsp pure apple juice
1 ripe pear, peeled, cored and chopped
1 ripe kiwi, peeled, cored and chopped
2 tbsp infant rice
1.Put the apple in a pan with the apple juice. Cover and simmer gently for about 8 minutes. Add the pear and kiwi and continue to simmer the fruit for 3-4 minutes.
2.Blend the fruit to a puree and strain to get rid of the kiwi’s black seeds. Stir in the rice (no need to cook) while the puree is warm.
