What time does your child catch the bus?

How long is their bus ride?

Gavin will have morning kindergarten in the fall and the bus comes at 6:50 but school does not start until 8:20. There is no way I am sticking him on a bus for an hour and a half! Especially when the school is less than 5 miles away!

Haley thankfully is one of the last on and one of the first off the bus everyday. She gets on at 7:30 with school starting at 8:00 and is home within half an hour of school getting out.

When I was in school we lived way out in the country and were the first ones on and the last ones off everyday. We got on the bus around 6:45 and didn't get home until 4:30 or so. Made for a really long day but my mom preffered it that way since she had to go to work at 7:00 and didn't get home till 5:00.

Unfortunately, to provide free transportation to all of the kids, some of them have to get on the bus at the crack of dawn. I wouldn't want it to be my child either but I understand why it has to happen.

Cori's bus gets here about 8:45. School starts at 9. She is home within 15 minutes of school letting out too.
