Early riser

My baby was going to bed between 9 and 9:30pm and waking up at 7am, but for the last two weeks he has been getting up at 6:30am. I hate this, it's just too early. Any suggestions on keeping him in bed until 7 like before? He screams until I get him.

My eldest was always an early riser too, he went to bed at 6pm and was up at 5.50am, I swear that boy had an internal alarm clock

When he was in a big boy bed (around 13 months) it was a lot easier, he just came and hopped into bed with me and would snuggle and use me as a road with his toy car .

When he was too little to do that I just got up, picked him up and bought him to my bed so I could 'sleep' until 7am.

The other 'cure' is "Wait til he hits puberty" then you will have trouble getting him to get up this side of noon

My kids are both fairly early risers too but since DH and I are too(usually) it doesn't really bother me. We can keep Zach up till 10:00-10:30 and he will still be up no later than 7:00.
There is a 7 yr old girl in our neighborhood that normally sleeps until 9 or 10 on weekends and it baffles me.

I put him in bed with us but he won't stay still and wants to play. Little monster...

I have a friend whose kids have always slept in. She homeschools them so they don't get up early to go to school. I am so jealous of her! To have the luxury of actually getting enough sleep! The thought! lol

Logan usually sleeps til around 8 at least.. i know what you mean about too early, if he gets up at 730 or even 7 i feel like i missed hours of sleep!

LOL I have NO clue..

Austin thinks that 6:30 is the perfect time to be up and around and playing and watching cartoons.. LOL

It's hard though because Dylan normally wakes up at 4 for a feeding.. so going back to sleep from around 4:30 untill 6:30 I feel like I've had NOOOO sleep what so ever.. LOL

Hailey is like that. She can stay up til midnight but she will still be up between 6 & 7 (always closer to 6). I have tried everything I can think of but she still wants to get up then.
Cori is the opposite. She would sleep til noon if we let her. Hailey wakes her up by 8 daily though.

What's frustrating is that his body clock was for 7 every morning, and now that's changed. Rrrr!

Well I fed him a couple of ounces of milk and then some juice about an hour before bed. I'm hoping this will keep him asleep longer. If this doesn't work, I don't know what will.
