Ugh! I can't!!
I feel bad about it... but I just can't.
I'm trying to teach Kyler that bugs are our friends.
He goes through his moments that he's really interested in them... to freaking out if he see's an ant walking across the floor.
So... trying to be a good mom, I let the ants crawl on my hands.
I pick up worms. Again -
I've even caught a few lady bugs.
However - I just can't bring myself to come CLOSE to a spider.
Tonight, we were watering plants and picking some weeds. I went to pick up a leaf and there was the biggest, ugliest, creepiest looking spider I've ever seen. I hate to admit it but I jumped - and freaked out - for about 3 minutes. I just couldn't get rid of the heebie jeebies!!!
Even now thinking about it... ugh! Ick!
Is your child "afraid" of bugs? What did you do to discourage this? Is it just normal?
I've notice that he's "afraid" of the bugs if he's barefoot. But, if he has his shoes on - he seems to be fine.

What an idiot. I would NOT be able to work there. We saw a tarnatula at the Indy Zoo and I am still having flashbacks of the nasty little thing.
, I'm forever getting spiders in glasses and putting a piece of paper under it and taking it outside to let it go.

) told her they bite....now she won't go near one!
