Update on The TTC Journey

Well I had my CD13 ultrasound today and I heard nothing but bad news!! Well I had one follicle on my left ovary. It was only 13mm. The RE said that he likes them to be atleast 18mm but 20mm would be the best!! GRRR!! Well that started the great visit!! Then I went and talked to him in his office and he said that he was going to up the Clomid to 200mg!! OMG!! That's crazy!! I told him that this was going to be my 5th Clomid cycle how many is safe? He said they could do as many as they felt was necessary but after 6 they give up all hope!! Then he told me that if I have no reaction to the 200mg at CD13 ultrasound again he wasn't going to even do a 6th Clomid cycle!! So there is what is going on!! He mentioned trying another fertility drug it's starts with an L but I can't think of the name of it now. He said if that didn't work, my only hope is egg donation with an IVF. Which we have NO money for!! So that is where I stand.....If you don't hear from me soon....I will be in the county jail for kidnapping charges!! LoL

The only drug that I can think of is Lupron, but it is usually used with IVF to stall ovulation so they can retrieve the eggs.
Maybe he wants you to take that until your follicle is large enough to fertilize and then give you an injection of HCG to stimulate ovulation once the follicle is ready?
DOes that sound like what he said?
