When did you start giving your child vitamins? We started giving Kate liquid vitamins this week.

I didn't start giving Rach vitamins until she was 2...she takes the Flinstones chewable vitamins for kids ages 2-3. Issac doesn't take any yet.

I haven't started Jared on any.

We were having a devil of a time getting Kate to eat anything but potatoes and breastmilk. So I thought I would start her on vitamins. It has made a tremendous improvement in her behavior. She barely throws temper tantrums at all now. And that is a huge plus!

We didn't start Alexander on vitamins until he was 2 because until then he was eating a good variety. He still does for the most part, but he gets pickier with each meal so we figured vitamins couldn't hurt. He also takes the Flintstone chewables for 2-3 year-olds. Elizabeth eats any and everything so we haven't started her on any vitamins.

I've thought about giving Kyler vitamins... but haven't done so yet.
He eats really well, so I'm not too worried about it.

I did try giving him the liquid vitamins when he was smaller and he didn't like them at all. It was a nightmare.
I think he's old enough for the chewables now, I just haven't bought any. I think I'm going to try them come this fall.

We started Liz on the chewables around 2....only because her eating habits are so hit and miss

I was told by a doctor that as long as children are eating a well balanced diet they don't need vitamins. My boys aren't on them.
