a little bit, but the rewards of motherhood are so worth anything that had to be given up.... and i am going to figure out how to fit it all in again eventually

I have to agree with you. I missed it more when Ali was little but that was because I had no one to talk to or my friends were not parents yet. I also agree that motherhood is a reward in it's own catagory.

I don't miss married life before motherhood - I miss single life. I was never one to go out and party or clubbing or drinking or just be "free." And I hate to say it but that is the thing I miss the most!

I met Kev while I was a junior. So between work and sports and school and everything else I just never went out. And since Kev and I don't (didn't) drink we never got invited out really to anything.

Ok enough. I totally agree - I LOVE MOTHERHOOD! (most days anyway )

I love being a mommy too. I wouldn't give it up to go back to single life ever!

I miss it - at times.
Like... when there is something I really want to do and I'm unable to find a babysitter.

But, those times are so rare, I wouldn't change a thing!!
It's a small price to for my pumpkin!

I miss the no responsibilities I love my DD. Going on was ok nothing I would give my DD up for. I think as long as you get out once in a while you'll be ok.

Never. I had a lot of fun years before she was born, but I wouldn't trade them for now.

There are days......when I miss just being able to jump in the car
and go...to the bookstore, to go grab something to eat that I'm really craving, go see friends - you know.

But on the whole, I wouldn't trade moherhood for ANYTHING!!!

I miss being able to get enough sleep, being on the go, and sitting alone and reading, etc when I want.

Sometimes I do. It's not the partying that I miss. It's the little things, like being able to walk out the door and do errands without taking at least one kid with me or making sure someone is here to watch all three. I miss deciding to go see a movie at the last minute. The only thing close to a break from motherhood that I've had in the past ten years has been when I was in the hospital after having another baby. I think I'm the only person I know who liked being in the hospital and waited on hand and foot. I'd love just 48 hours of no fighting, no butt wiping, or having to fill the needs of little people.
