Go to Blockbuster.com and it will redirect you to the new site where you can sign up for your 2 week free trial of Blockbuster's new online video rental.

Seems to be almost identical to Netflix but a few bucks cheaper. If anyone gives it a try, let us know how quick the shipping service is.

Oooh, I may do that.

Now that p!sses me off! I have to pay $30 per month to rent 3 movies at a time in-store, but they'll pay shipping both ways and only charge me $20 a month for their online program? Ahem ... I feel a letter to corporate headquarters in the works!

You can tell I'm not feeling up to my fiery self ... here's the best I could do this morning ...

I think the movie pass is a wonderful program -- and was even willing to pay more than I was charged by Netflix just to continue patronizing my local store. However, I'm very upset over the fact that Blockbuster now has a comparable online rental program, allowing up to 3 movies out at a time, for only $19.99 per month. This makes no sense to me as overhead must be more since you are willing to pay shipping both ways. I am currently paying $30 per month to use my gas to drive to the nearest Blockbuster store and have the ability to rent 3 movies at a time.

I don't feel I should have to pay any more for renting movies locally than those that rent online. I will be cancelling my movie pass membership and I don't plan on renewing my Rewards either. I'm very disappointed to have to do this as I've always been pleased with the service that I've received at my local store, but I feel it's ridiculous to pay $10 per month more than I need to for the same privledges.

I think that sounds great Dawn! I didn't realize that this was cheaper than the promotion thing that you were doing.

Sounds good to me Dawn. Let us know what happens.

I just signed up for the Movie pass in the store. I may have to switch to the online feature. Thanks for the link!
