When did you start buying baby products?

I'm offically pregnant and I was wondering around when did you start buying baby products?

I don't actually remeber when I started buying baby products for my first baby. Probably not until close to the end of the pregnancy since I has three miscariages and was worried about carrying ful term.

For my first pregnancy, not very quickly, but I was very young and keeping it from people.
For my second and third pregnancies I wanted to begin shopping right away.

I didn't go out looking to buy stuff right away but if there was something I just HAD to have I bought it.
The first thing we bought for Italy was a monkey where you pull his tail and he plays music. And for Jordan it was a hat that said "kisses 25 cents" on it.

I bought stuff at least a year ahead of time (before I was even preggo!!) I just kept it all in rubbermaid totes.

My sister will tell you that I'm a procrastinator. (sp?)

I didn't buy anything for my first baby until I was about 6 months along. (Which was the crib, glider, dressers... things like that.)
I was getting outfits and little things from friends right away.

With my first baby I didn't buy anything til after she was here! My mom had bought the crib and matress and a few sheets. Nothing else was bought til she had arrived!

And I haven't started with anything for this baby yet either!

With Duncan, I bought something the day the doctor said I was def. Pregnant! LOL. With this one, I did the day I found out. Actually, it was more for George and telling him I was pregnant. I bought a pair of pink baby slippers and put them in a gift bag and gave them to him.

it took us so long ttc, that i was paranoid throughout most of my pregancy, i didn't start shopping until after six months and it felt 'real' to me

I waited for my baby shower basically. I might have gotten a few products ahead of time. With Devin, I still had some from Lexi and several people gave me some.
