ok how soon is too soon to start TTC after having a baby? I'm thinking about two years. Any opinions are welcome.

Lets just put it this way I believe the Drs say at least a year before trying again. But, I have know people who get pregnant within 3 months so their kids are not even one year apart. My mom is one of them my sister and brother are two day shy of being a year apart so they are the same age for two days. I've actually heard of someone who went for her 6 weeks post check up and found out she was Pregnant again just imagine that one!!

I have cousins that are 10 months apart. Of course when their mom found out she was pregnant the second time she cried for two weeks and got her tubes tied the day after Lauren was born Guess she didn't want that to happen again. Duncan was three months old when I found out I was pregnant with Logan. But we weren't TTCing.. just happened.

I can't even imagine having kids any more closer then 3 yrs apart.

we decided to wait 2 years so ours will be a wee over 3 years apart (ok they will be closer to 3.5 years apart) I think that they justrecommend that you wait a year before TTCing but like many ladies have said some women become preggo without ttcing.

My mom had me and my brothers all really close.

Michael and Devon are 13 months apart, and we planned it that way. I'm so glad we did because they are very close. I think it depends on what's best for your family.

I agree with Tara, though we did not plan on having kids less than 13 months apart, I wouldn't change it for the world. They are so close to each other, the only "bad" part of it is wht the two pregnancies did to my body. I was not physically ready to have another baby so soon. So I ended up on bedrest. Duncan and logan are 12 months and 20 days apart. Logan and Ian are 20 months apart and Ian and the new baby will be 33 months apart.

To me, personally, I think if you've had a c-section, you should wait the full year to heal completely. However, my dh and his four brothers are 4 years apart from oldest to youngest. If you are breastfeeding, you may not be ovulating until you start solids or even later.

My doctor told me I have to have 19 months between this baby and the next. I just had two babies 15 months apart. (Mine are C-section though. I think that's why I am restricted)

we were waiting for them to be 2 years apart, but now we're thinking we don't know HOW far apart they'll be!

My boys are only 20 months apart and it was tough for the first two years. You basically have two babies at once. I feel like I missed out on a lot of "babying" with Cody because he was only a year old when I found out I was pregnant with TJ. I had 2 in diapers, 2 that needed to be carried

There's 3 1/2 years between Jessi and Cody .. and I have to say, that's a good age difference!
