Hi Anne,
I've done some more research on thrush since the last time we spoke (?) I refilled the babys perscription for nystatin, and started it yesterday, orally for her and on my nipples. I spoke with another LC this morning, and she said this was not good enough. (It is what the pedatric nurse told me to do.) The LC said to use lotrimin on my nipples and take some acidopholis and eat yougurt. I also read to put vinegar/water solution on nipples after feeding, pat dry and then use the lotrimin. I also am going to keep hands (mine and hers) washed and change nursing pads frequently. Does this all sound like it will work? I can't take any more pain and I need to kick this or I am going to go out of my mind! Also, does the lotrimin need to be washed off before feeding?
Thank you so much!
Suzie
