OK..if 1st day of AF is CD12 then what day do you want to have
post #2 of 12
I thought the 1st day of AF was CD1 and that you should try around CD10 - CD12. I'm sure somebody more knowledgable will see this and reply though!

Yup. Your first day of AF is CD1. If you have a relatively regular cycle, trying anywhere from CD9-CD12 is good.

I used the OPK's to get a better idea of ovulation. Good luck!

I always wondered what all the CD stuff meant.

CD is Cycle Day... CD1 Is the day Aunt Flo arrives. And most women ovulate somewhere around CD10-12. But Not everyone....

Since I'm on Clomid, I'm one of those with a later ovulation. I take the Clomid on CD5 through CD9, and ovulate about 10 days later, so around CD19 or CD20.

I heartily recommend the OPK's, or maybe charting your basal body temp until you get the hang of which days are the optimum days (that's what I did).

That's what I did too. I ovulated earlier in my cycle than is standard.
