This week sees just one recall – personalized pacifiers.

It’s My Binky is recalling their personalized pacifiers due to the possibility of the button, ring handle, and shield detaching and causing a choking hazard. There have been two reports of this occurring, but no injuries yet.

The pacifiers being recalled have “Japlo” printed on the shield at the bottom center. Examples of pacifiers included in the recall are listed below (but may also include other types):

These pacifiers were sold at Nordstrom and other retailers nationwide, as well as online at www.itsmybinky.com, from February 2006 through June 2008, for $5 to $6. Consumers are advised to take them away from children immediately and return them to the store where you purchased them for a free replacement pacifier.
