I found this article:
http://www.businesstown.com/taxes/taxes-employment.asp

Now... it's saying I should plan on 13% of payroll taxes.
What do you think?? Does that sound about right??

We have an appt with a CPA on Wed. I just want to get my numbers as accurate as I possible can before he goes through everything.
I'm terrified he's going to look at my work and say it looks like a 5th grader put it together!

Well I would just pull up a monthly report to see about what ours run - Wish I had an idea but I only know that Labor (payroll) runs about 13-18% depending on the store and time of year - But thats not including taxes

I wanna say including taxes its around 24% so my guess is 13% sounds about right.

But remember different "industries" have different standards - what is true for us many not be at all for you.

Sorry - I just now saw this. That seems pretty accurate, but again, I don't know what your state unemployment tax rate is. I know my payroll taxes run about that, so it's a pretty good average.
