Ok went to Sunmart today and bought school supplies and groceries.

Spent $27.84

Saved $18.28 because the backpacks were buy one get it full of supplies for free. We bought 2 of them one for each kid.

Plus we bought $34.40 worth of stuff after the free items were taken off and we saved $6.56 somehow.

So for a total savings of $24.84 all together with what all we got.

Hope this is how you want it to be Roxanna.

Looks fine Angie! I just need the totals to figure the percentage. Don't stop telling us all the individual deals too ... just make sure the totals are in there someplace!

Went to Kroger today and spent $63.31, saved $34.89. That's a 55% savings!

Here are the two great deals of the day:

Hamburger Helper was on sale for $0.98 per box. When you buy 5 boxes you get a coupon for $2.50 off next visit. So I paid $0.48 per box!

Chef Boyrdee Pasta was on sale for $0.88 per can. I had a coupon for $0.70 off three cans and another coupon for $1.00 off three cans. So I paid $0.31 per can!

Ok I just remeber this now.

We bought 2 boxes of 1 lb tubes of hamburger with 24 tubes in each box for a $1 a lbs.

Spent $48 for 48lbs of hamburger.

Saved $54.72

I seen it at Sunmart on Saturday for $2.14 for the SAME exact tube from Con Agra.

:yippee: I save $1.14 per tube so if I would have bought that much at the store it would have cost me $102.72 so I save $54.72 just for buying it straight from Con Agra and not at the store

I'm with Tara, I am simply trying to cut my bill down. The saving below makes me feel better though. I have found that going to an actual grocery store as opposed to Wal-Mart seems to help. When I go to Wal-Mart I always by more....at a grocery store everything else is priced higher so I only by my groceries. I was ecstatic when I left Kroger and spent less than $60. Usually spend $100 or more in Wal-Mart

KROGER:

Spent: $57.71
Saved: $30.04 (34 %)

KOHLS:
Spent: $27.03
Saved $20.00 with coupons (45%)

ALBERTSONS:

Had LUVS for $7.99 a pack plus it was tax free weekend here. Bought 5 backs. Normally $10.99. Saved $3 per pack. Plus had a $1 off coupon. Regular total: $54.95 My Total before coupon $39.95 After coupon $38.95 Savings $16 (29%)

WalGreens:

Infusium 2/$5.99 (normally $5.99 each)
Q-Tips 2/2.99 (normally 2.99 each)

Paid $9.72
Saved $8.98 (50%)

Before Savings $208.43
Total Savings so far $75.02 (36%)

Tara, what was the price on those shirts before they were marked down the first time? You saved more than you think!

Kim, I bought one of those for Drew and forgot to list it! Glad you did so now I can add it to my list of savings. Did you use the $5 off $20 coupon?

KBToys.com
LEGO MindStorms: Vision Command
Regular Price $125.00
Sale Price $19.99
Savings: $105.00

Pokemon Trading Cards
Regular Price $2.99
Sale Price $.57
Savings: $2.42

Total Before Coupon: $20.56
Minus $5 coupon = $15.56
Plus Shipping $5.30 = $20.86

Total Spent $20.86
Total Saved $107.42

Brenda...

Didn't see it... I guess I'll have to be more mindful to look for things like that! Pretty much takes care of the shipping, eh?
Couldn't pass it up, the nephews will LOVE it!!

Do you ever shop at Amazon.com? Check the upper right hand side of the site. They are now doing the thing with a gold treasure chest... can't remember exactly what they call it, but they have 5 super-savers each day (5 items chosen for you that are FURTHER marked down). The only thing is that you have to look at them one at a time & have 60 mins. to decide if you want to take the deal or pass. If you pass, the deal's gone forever. If you take one, then you are done w/deals for the day.. even if you have all 4 left. Not bad if you really need something. The extra savings I've seen is an additional 15-30% off. They have things from DVD players to strollers. Kind of interesting. Almost like a Bob Barker "Price is Right" game.

Kim, I got the coupon off a coupon code site. I'll PM the name to you. If you do alot of online shopping, you always want to check and see if there is a coupon first. This particular place usually has alot of them.
