Amen on the undergarments! Although, I admit I did buy a corset once at a second hand shop, and used it to make my first Renaissance Faire costume (sewed some fabric over the top of it, and it was perfect!).

I buy a lot of DS's clothes at the nearby thrift store. About every 2 months, they mail me a coupon for 30% off all clothing, and each day a certain price tag color is 50% off as well. I also shop clearance racks and other discount stores religiously, because I'd rather pay $2 for new jeans than $179 for used ones!

I have bought myself a few things there, too, although because I'm a big girl, it's pretty hard to find things that will fit that aren't too well used. I bought myself a silky pantsuit (jacket and pants) and a camp shirt that matched for a total of $8 a while back. I just need to alter the pants a bit to wear it regularly (I had to roll the waist a couple of times to keep them off the ground).

I try to go to the thrift store about once every two weeks. I just got a coupon in the mail, so I gotta go next week for sure!

NO used underwear

I will buy some generics, it just depends on what it is. We don't mind the Publix soda's but I don't like the cola kind. Some cereals taste the same. John said the mini wheats by Target tasted the same.

Okay, first of all, I refuse to wear someone else's panties... but I would probably wear a used bra if I needed to save even more pennies.

One thing I will not buy generic is Mac and Cheese. I will only eat the Kraft kind, and I prefer the cheesy kind if possible. Usually the regular Kraft will work though.
