My hair is getting pretty long. I love it. But it seems I end up pulling it up into a pony tail everyday. It just hangs in my face if I don't. I want to wear it without having to put it in a ponytail ...any suggestions?

I feel the same way. My hair is beyond the middle of my back now and it's heavy and gets in my face while I'm working. I end up with a pony tail or a braid while I am doing things and just let it down when I am done. I'd love any suggestions as well.

Sorry I am not much help Roxanna.

Thats fine Tara .. I hate the way it just hangs in my face when I'm doing anything. I can't stand barrets (splg) or headbands and I don't know what to do!

You can still keep it long but have layers. It will give it a little lift without loosing the length. It helps make perms and naturally curly hair perk up too!

I have the same problem with mine. And I can't cut mine in layers, either. One side grows faster than the other, so it looks funky when the layers grow out. I have been trying for months to come up with something to do with it, unsuccessfully I might add. Rick says he can't remember what my hair looks like down. I pull it back in a ponytail before I even come out of the bedroom in the morning!

I know you don't like barrettes, how about using a ponytail holder to just top some hair on top of your head jut to get it out of your face? I'm not good on straight long hair questions, mine's naturally curly and shoulder length sooooo I either pull mine back into a pony tail or into a banana clip. Sorry.

If I run across anything in a magazine about long hair I will post it.

Do you guys have those claw clips?!?!

When my hair was long I used to kind of gather it in the back and twist it a bit.. put the claw thing around the hair and then there would be some "mop" like hair lef and i'd just kind crunk it with some mousse or hair spray.. and maybe pull some sides down so i didn't have a completely naked neck!

I have naturally curly hair and I do the same things. I pull the sides up and leave the back down, or it goes into a ponytail, ot I twist it up and use a claw clip.OR I braid it, but it doesnt't stay in braids unles I wear it in pigtail braids ( low pig tails)

my hair was down to the middle of my back and I had enough of it so I took off 4 inches and put small layers in it and I can still put it in a pony. I will post before and after pictures soon! I like it but wish I had made more layers!

LOL! I have the same problem. My hair is so long and I try really hard not to put it up but somehow it ends up. I have layers in my hair and it still gets in my way. I have not found a solution past the pony tail. Maybe someday...

I wear mine in a pony tail too. My hair falls out of clips, claws and headbands. I guess it's just too slick. Let us know how it goes, Roxanna.

Mine bothers me all of the time too. Daniel is always pulling it too. I'm trying to grow out my layers. It just hangs there flat and looks terrible. I put the sides up into a barrette, but I'd like to be able to just wear it down.
