All the hanging skin and what not? My thighs are starting to drop to my knees. I have lost enough weight that I feel I look horrible because of the hanging skin. I am so flabby. I have started to do stuff to tone my thighs but how do I deal with the skin since I obviously can not afford a good surgeon. Any ideas?

Honestly other than surgery, if it's hanging that bad, that's the only option I can think of that would be very effective.

Maybe I should stop trying to lose weight for a while and see what happens? It is not that bad yet but I don;t see how it will not get worse?

Well I am at 163 now and would love to get down to 130-140 but will have to see. Lately Iam not losing much but my clothes are getting really big on me so I am guessing I am still losing inches (didn't measure )

Becky that is wonderful you are losing all that weight, keep up the good work and tone the arms and legs if you can. You can use soup cans or jugs of water to help if you do not have weights at home. Just a thought.

WTG on losing the weight!

Are you doing an exercise program? Maybe walking or something might help you tone up.

Congratulations on your weight loss!!! I think the trick is to exercise while you're loosing the weight. My sister had gastric bypass surgery a few years ago and has now recently lost 65 pounds on the Atkins diet. She had a lot of hanging fat/flab to the point where it was no longer sanitary/healthy. Insurance FINALLY approved the surgery but she had to prove she didn't want it done for appearance reasons but because of health issues. It's been a month now and she's looking and feeling much better. Besides surgery though... I'm not too sure what options are out there.

Good luck on loosing the rest of your weight. It sounds like you're doing a great job!
