Well aware of Jax's eyes on her, Courtney impulsively plants a kiss on a surprised Jason. Professing no interest at all in Sonny, Durant claims he's come to the penthouse to see his long-lost daughter. Brook Lynn thanks Dillon for looking out for her best interests as she finally sets sail on a career in the music industry. Lois haughtily informs Lorenzo that she's not willing to give him a second chance. A flustered Courtney accuses Jax of pushing her into humiliating Jason. Meanwhile, Sam encourages Jason to talk about how his ex hurt him. Tracy demands that Alan use his authority at the hospital to get their father released and out from under Heather's smothering presence. Simon explains to an uneasy Brook why she must undergo an extreme makeover before hitting the charts. Though Carly advises him to forget she ever existed, Durant invites her to join him for dinner at The Cellar. Later, Sonny warns Carly to remember that Durant is operating on his own agenda but agrees not to stand in her way if she wants to get to know her dad. Aggravated by Simon's demands, Dillon snarls at Lois for eagerly packaging her own daughter like some sex object. Stunned to learn from Sonny about Carly's family ties, Jason suggests a second DNA test in hopes of disproving Durant's claims. Later, a worried Mike advises his son to discourage Carly from having any further contact with the federal prosecutor. Felicia informs an outraged Monica and Alan that she's had Edward moved to an undisclosed location. Over dinner, John turns on the charm with his wary daughter. Brook has second thoughts about fighting the makeover after Lucas admires her new look.
