Things are progressing. Have gotten a food list taken care of and are talking to the family...they are making the food. We decided on...
Chicken Fingers
Finger Sandwhiches
Cheese ball and crackers
Mints
Nuts
Fruit tray
Veggie Tray
We also have a singer decided on and have assigned jobs to most parts.
Now if Jamie could only decide on his best man and etc....

It sounds as if everything is coming together for you & Jamie. Planning a wedding is exciting, yet exhausting.

I don't remember seeing this anywhere, but you may have mentioned it and I just missed it. Are you planning on incorporating Alexis in your ceremony?

She is a flower girl and at the end we are going to carry her down the aisle with us. There are two flower girls, Jamie's cousin to help Alexis down the aisle.

The Flower girl idea is so cute. I like the idea of you two carrying her at the end. What a cute family picture. Mom and Dad dressed in thier wedding outfitis and Alexis in her best as a flower girl.

Do you have a Personal attendant. they really help the day of the wedding. I wish I would of had one. I really didn't know what they were called and what they did. Now I know.

I don't think that I have one. What exactly does a personal attendant do?

Personal Attendant, is as important as the Maid of Honor. She helps you get dressed, any make up adjustments after the wedding dress is on. Hair to be done if it needs to be brushed or combed after dress is on. She makes sure everyone is ready to get their pictures taken when you and Jamie are ready. If you are hungry or thristy she will get you those. Oh Diana, please eat a little something before the wedding, so your knees don't lock and make you fall or pass out. Jamie should eat a little something to. Back to the Personal Attendant, she is really nice to have around, so you don't have to worry about things on your wedding day.

Programs get passed out(If you have them)
Signing the guestbook, make sure someone is at that table.
Bird Seeds or Bubbles are passed out after the ceremony.

I am not an expert, but if you have any questions, like what else a personal attendant can do let me know.

This will just help your day flow better.

Thanks for explaining AnnieQ. That is kind of what my director is doing. Except for I have a separate person for the guest book and my two cousins are going to hand out bubbles.

I do not think I am going to be able to afford the theme Precious Moments. The invitations, ring bearer pillow, thank you cards, everything comes up to almost $600 and mom and dad are only allowing about $1000.
But I guess I will work with a rose theme.

Suggestion for you. They have a groom carrying the bride, but this one is not Precious Moments. It is close and that is what we used. That is if that is what you were looking at useing for the invites. You could do everything that way and then on the wedding cake and grooms cake have Precious Moments on there. You could do the quest book that way too. Ring Bearer Pillow try a satin white pillow with lace, it goes good with the Precious Moments. Just and idea.

P.S. I have Precious Moments here, if you need to borrow some of it. Just trying to help.

I don't know about the napkins design. I didn't have a computer in 1988 they weren't that hot then. Do you get to look at designs on the internet? Wow if you do. All I know it is a groom carrying his bride.

I have the Bride and Groom together, I also have a bride walking and the little cat is carrying her train, not a big train. What are you looking for?

I got your email and your address. Diana the Bride and Groom or standing beside one another. Not the Groom carrying the Bride. I can't find that one. I must of packed it, like I said it was not a precious moments.

I will mail it and this is my gift to you and Jamie. I will clean it up first. you know dust gets in it. Early gift. Even if you don't decide to use Precious Moments. you will always remember the trouble you went through to look for items for it. Also the friendship we share.
