I can't resize pictures at work and still haven't figured out how to post them anyway. Let me ask this question:

Does anyone know a single mom that owns a pop up camper? now you do!

It's nostalgic: 1982 Starcraft Galaxy 2106, 21 being when popped, 21 feet long! 06 meaning sleeps 6! The thing is huge, weighs 1500 lbs and I'm pulling it with my Ford Escape. I look pretty cool and feel real important LOL. It's in absolute perfect condition, original owner, stored indoors and from a friend. We are ready to go! Perhaps I will camp in a town near some of you next season. My first big trip I would like to camp close to Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, Tn. I'm so excited.

Very cool! If you end up near Pigeon Forge you'll have to let me know ... I have family down that way. Oh wait a minute! Why am I talking about driving 400 miles south to meet you when we live in the same state?!?

Cool! Rick and I would like to get an RV someday so we can actually camp duing the spring and summer. It's so hot here, so we need the AC and you can only get them on RV's. But RV's are hideously expensive, even the little ones.

Pop up campers contain air conditioners. Mine doesn't but I could put one in, I looked at the purchase of ac for 600.00 not including installation. Just so you know.

We looked at them, but we need more room. There are 4 of us and we always have 3-4 extra people with us. now we get the kids friends as well. And I like the idea of having everything stay in the RV so it is always there. No loading and unloading.

We had a BIG pop-up when I was a kid. We used it for years and years. I remember fondly the trips to the NJ state parks to camp for vacations. Wish my kids liked camping as much as I do
