Last night Gary bought frozen peas (he said they didn't have fresh) for me to make baby food for the Twins. Do I cook them first or just thaw them before I put them in the blender?

I would cook them first, I think the ones you buy are precooked, anyway, so it wouldn't hurt!

I would cook them first and them press them through a strainer. Peas have that little skin on them and I always worried about that when feeding Brandon. They didn't really break up to well just being pureed from what I remember.

Heather, a strainer is a collander....use a spoon and push the peas through the little holes with spoon to get rid of any chunks, or big pieces!

Oh, and I would cook them first!

Oh! Hmm..I don't think the one that I have will work though. I guess I will have to go buy one.

I agree with everyone else that the peas should be cooked.
