I know it's more expensive, but I only use TIDE. It's the only kind I've found that doesn't irritate mine and the kids' skin, and gets the clothes super-clean!

I use Tide or Gain. I love the way they smell and they do not fade out all our clothes.

My kids all have allergic reactions to certain detergents and such so I have always bought Tide up till about 5mo ago. Walmart raised the price of the powdered Tide and we go through 3-4 boxes of the 40 load size a month (it is cheaper to buy the smaller boxes in bulk than to buy a big box here). So I decided to try the walmart brand of Tide and amazingly enough none of us are allergic to it! I save about $10 a month by using the generic. That is a savings of $120 a year! Every lil bit helps ya know!

I've always used Wisk. I really like the kind with the extra stain remover added because my kids are so messy.

I use Tide... works well & DH is convinced it's the best. I'd really like to use Purex.... it's cheap and it works really well. I buy it on sale & take it to my Mom & Dad for them. (I can get 100 oz. bottles for $2.50 each).

We use either Gain or Era. The last 5 bottles have been Era though. But I bounce back and forth between the two.

I am not real picky as long as it works, but I really like Oxydol. DH got me hooked on it right after we got married. It smells good and works OK.

I used to buy what ever was cheap or on sale. But Maddie can only use baby detergent or All Free and Clear so that is what we all use. Much easier to do everyone's laundry together.

And Roxanna...your laundry area smelled soooo good! Nice and clean..wish I could use Gain or something else!

Recently it's been whatever's cheap. There's a brand they sell at Sam's that comes in a big bucket that I can hardly lift into the cart. I like it when it's gone and we can use the bucket for larger storage of flour, rice, sugar, toys ...whatever.

I use Tide. We went through a spell a while back where clothes were coming out with spots on them. Started using Tide and the problem ended. Not sure if it was the detergent or not, but we'll stick with it because it works.
